Hav you solved it? For me its happening in both sculpt room and retopo. I don't have a solution for you but can confirm this infuriating situation. A good CPU, with lots of cores/threads and fast RAM is where you want to invest your hardware, if you want to get the most out of 3D. So, in short, CUDA really doesn't have much of an impact on performance in 3D Coat. Voxels are still really good for carefree and fast boolean operations. is there somewhere or some way to revert to a previous release? I bought it through Steam so I guess that might be a bit of an issue. Surface mode sculpting is where 3D Coat really shines. is there somewhere or some way to revert to a previous release? For pro grade OGL video card, then it is best to use the OGL version (ignoring the bug in the OGL that is plaguing said build). It seems to happen more reliably when using a tool that has selection highlight overlays. Base color/Diffuse/Albedo Normal map DX/GL Displacement/Height Roughness AO You Can. I noticed this message on the latest install of 4.7. As far as 3DC running better in DX versus OGL, 3DC is based on a game engine that Andrew the developer wrote, and thus runs much better with the DX version for gaming and low end video cards. The only way to bring it back is to frame all, but that's not really a solution when it's disappearing every few seconds. It's not that the view of the camera has changed, the viewport is simply displaying nothing but the environment background. Moving the mouse over the mesh for more than a couple of seconds will cause the mesh to disappear every time. I've always found 3DC to be the best retopo solution I've come across, but currently it's bordering on unusable in my pipeline due to the mesh disappearing every few seconds. I also have this problem and it seems to me that it is very much a bug that didn't seem to be in previous versions of 3D-Coat. The video will appear in your post.I saw someone else post a topic about the mesh disappearing in the retopo room but they marked it as solved and I'm not sure it is solved. But I just noticed today that there are only two links to run the program. Is there any way you can provide a screen capture of the behavior (there is a "Upload Screenshot" in the help menu).
