Passover marks the anniversary of the Jews’ escape from slavery in Egypt as told in Exodus 12:40-42 (NIV). The celebration of these religious holidays is a time of renewal, hope, new beginnings, rebirth and life beyond death. There are many spiritual and religious holidays that happen during the spring season, including Easter and Passover. Springtime brings with it new life, both inside ourselves and in our surroundings there’s a reason we associate it with youthful energy! Holy Days It’s during this season that many animals start to breed and produce offspring, while people plant trees and crops for future harvests to come. ![]() Spring is a time of new beginnings, and it’s no coincidence that the season takes its name from the way plants emerge from the earth in spring. This can be difficult at times because we all have an innate desire for survival however, it’s important not only for our own spiritual growth but also so that others can continue moving forward as well. You may even need to forgive yourself for holding onto those things that have no longer served their purpose. The winter season is often a time for this as we prepare our hearts and minds for spring, but it’s also important to remember that letting go of what is old doesn’t just take place in the natural world.Īs you transition from winter into spring, you may find yourself needing to let go of some thoughts or feelings that no longer serve your highest good. What needs repair? What needs strengthening? What needs removal? What needs replacing? What needs repositioning? Letting go of the old.Īs we are drawn to the new and fresh, we tend to find ourselves letting go of what is old. We can use this time to reflect on what changes we would like to make in our lives by asking ourselves these questions: The natural world awakens from its slumber with vibrant colors and life returning to every part of nature around us including our bodies! It is also the season of death, dying and rebirth. It is the season of new beginnings and birth. Spring is the time of renewal, a rebirth. In addition to all this, it’s also a time for new growth-if you’re stuck in your head or trying to figure out what you want from life (or maybe just feeling like you’ve hit a plateau), there’s no better time than now to take advantage of all those good things happening around you by doing something about them! The symbolism behind this season is clear: spring represents renewal, freshness, and rebirth. It’s the season when life and hope are reborn, as flowers push through the earth to bloom and trees burst forth with buds in anticipation of their leaves. However, spring brings renewed energy that helps us reconnect with others and find new ways to express ourselves through art or athletics (or both). During this time, we may feel disconnected from nature and other people as a result of cold temperatures and limited daylight hours. ![]() Late winter can be a pretty bleak season, especially in places where snow falls for months at a time or when summer doesn’t feel like it will ever arrive.
